The van is all welded now, thanks to Shaggy ;-) I have run round with some white smoothrite just to make it all the same colour, cover up the welds and keep the rust away. I have recovered the cushions, now just got to do the curtains! Bugjam was a blast this year - only went for the Saturday, but went in the van anyway. Tonight I finished wiring in the fuse and power into the bottom of the sink cupboard. We now have a Cambridge Soundworks sub bass unit in there! With the two little speakers semi-permanently hung in the van the sound is lovely. The mechanic had seen me at the SPA dubs meet the other night, so we had a good chat about campers and such. Turns out the bus is good mechanically with new shocks, brake lines and stuff, but the body has a few bits starting. I will get to those over the winter. Nothing too drastic though. Cost of oil change and check over was £50. Yikes, roll on Tekenders.
